Managing Partner Lance A. Harke, of the Miami-based commercial litigation and consumer class action law firm of Harke & Clasby LLP, ( was recently selected as a "Fellow" by the Litigation Counsel of America. The induction ceremony is scheduled for October 29 in Charleston, SC.

The Litigation Counsel of America is an invitation-only trial lawyer honorary society established to reflect the new face of the American Bar. Members are selected and invited into Fellowship after being evaluated on effectiveness and accomplishment in litigation and trial work, along with ethical reputation. Membership is limited to 3,500 Fellows, representing less than one-half of one percent of all American lawyers.

Harke resides in Miami and has a wealth of litigation experience. He concentrates his trial practice on products liability, insurance and complex class actions, in addition to commercial and consumer litigation matters. He graduated from the University of Florida, with high honors and received his B.A. degree in Philosophy. He received his law degree from the University of Miami School of Law, where he graduated Cum Laude, and was Editor-in-Chief of the University of Miami Law Review.
