Features Chance to Win $10,000 for a Hole-in-One

On Saturday, August 15, golfers can participate in the Caritas Center Ace for Life golf outing to benefit the Coalition of Southeast Michigan Pregnancy Centers. Co-chairs of the event include Park West Gallery CEO Albert Scaglione, Channel 7 News Anchor Vic Faust, Channel 4 Meteorologist Chuck Gaidica, Our Lady of Good Counsel Pastor Father John Riccardo, and author and talk show host Teresa Tomeo.

For a $300 charitable donation golfers will receive 27 holes of par-three golf, a 1-1/2 hour short game clinic, premium food and beverages, and a chance for cash prizes. The outing will be held at the beautiful Fox Hills Golf & Banquet Center in Plymouth, Michigan. Ace for Life proceeds support infants from area Pregnancy Centers that empower men and women to become self-sufficient, improving lives forever in our community.

"This is an opportunity for golfers to have fun while supporting a worthy cause," said Bill Kennis of the Lennon Pregnancy Center. "Every year nearly 10,000 teens become pregnant in the tri-county area alone. The centers support these young people with a range of services from counseling and education to adoption planning to parenting help. The proceeds from this event will go toward helping 24 pregnancy centers continue this mission."
