New Functionality Gives AuctionACCESS Members Even More Control

AutoTec announced today that AuctionACCESS members, who represent more than 200,000 licensed vehicle dealers and representatives, now have even more control of their memberships with new enhancements added to myACCESS, the online AuctionACCESS account management system.

In a continuing effort to let AuctionACCESS members manage their membership information with unprecedented ease and efficiency, AutoTec has announced an enhancement that allows members to view and upload digital versions of required documents and licenses right on their myACCESS profile pages.

This innovative feature frees myACCESS users from the hassle of standing in line with these documents at dealer registration, or from having to make time during business hours to fax them over. The documents page lets anyone with a myACCESS account upload, update or access their documents anytime they want, anywhere they want.

"This is just one of many system enhancements and productivity tools that we have slated for 2009," said AutoTec President and CEO Charles Redden, "and another important step in giving members more control of their AuctionACCESS."

Members can find the documents page on the left-hand side of their myACCESS profiles. From there, they can upload important forms like driver's licenses, dealer licenses, passports, dealer authorization/removal letters and AuctionACCESS applications. Some documents can even be signed electronically.

Clicking on "View" for a particular form will allow members to view a scanned image of the actual document, which can be moved or expanded to get a better look.

The "Details" link lets members learn more about each document, including its status. This information tells each individual which documents they're missing (if any), as well as which are expired and need to be updated. And every document is subject to AutoTec's top-notch quality assurance process, which ensures that each one is uploaded completely and correctly.

As the online account management system for AuctionACCESS, myACCESS already allows members to update their contact information, add and remove authorized individuals and use their stored data to expedite the registration process at participating auction locations. But this latest innovation gives members even more convenience -- and more control -- than ever.
