Adding a market measured at more than six million, and the health club brands of Diversified Health and Fitness, "WOW" brings print and ink back to media

There are a million ways to get exercise into your daily routine

Internet access has cut deep into the sales of printed books and magazines. Some say it's the end of an era. However, the printed workbook--especially in the fitness club--has been spared the knife and may be changing the face of print distribution.

Downloadable workouts, CDs and wii Fit have been with us for quite a while, but nothing has replaced the forms and journals that trainers use to keep their client's losing weight and gaining strength, flexibility and more energy.

Laura Dayton's new WOW: Women Only Workouts book and program has a major foothold in the fitness community. Her newest WOW book and program are unique in that she isn't trying to sell herself as a fitness commodity. She's selling--and quite convincingly--Americans on the idea that we all need to break out of our sedentary lifestyles and move more.

"There are a million ways to get exercise into your daily routine," says Dayton. "My program gives you 999,999 of those ways. No one has ever been this forthcoming or honest in a workout book. One way, is not the way."

Her thirty-year reputation leading the field of women's fitness has helped to create a program that puts fitness success into the hands of any woman, any age, at any level, regardless if they work out at a club or at home. As advertised, it's a program for life, but its prime market is people who have shown enough interest in their health and well-being to at least inquire at a health club.

Fitness Over 50

Dayton, 57, remains prominent in the fitness field, staying current with the younger generation as Fitness Advisor to UjenaNetwork.com, and also contributing on a regular basis to Teen Fitness Network and Ms. Fitness Magazine. Her appeal to more mature women is a given with her 30+ years in the business and excellent reputation.

Dayton's books and materials are now available at all Diversified Health and Fitness franchise brands including The Zoo Health Club, Rejuvenate, Sedona Fitness for Women, Shape Express, Fit for Her!, Liberty Fitness, Fit Zone for Women, Access Fitness, The Blitz, Ultimate Woman 20 Minute Fitness, Butterfly Life and 123 Fit; or other select clubs, her website and Amazon.
