Area Operations Management Expert Slated to Present at the 2009 APICS International Conference & Expo in Toronto, Canada

John Long, the Principal consultant and President of NMT Company, LLC., will present at the 2009 APICS International Conference & Expo--where more than 1,000 operations management professionals will meet to enhance their knowledge and skills to remain competitive in the global economy.

This October 4-6, more than 1,000 operations and supply chain management professionals will join presenter John Long and APICS The Association for Operations Management, the global leader in supply chain and operations management certification and education, to enhance their relevancy in the global economy at the 2009 APICS International Conference & Expo in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

The 2009 APICS International Conference & Expo educational program is made up of six Learning Paths to help attendees increase their knowledge and expertise in a variety of areas, including global supply chain; lean; basics of operations management; demand management, forecasting, and S&OP; professional advancement; and special-interest topics. John Long will help attendees increase their knowledge and skills in Strategic Sourcing for Optimal Supply Chain Management.

John Long, MBA, CSCP, CPSM is the principal consultant and President of NMT Company, LLC. He has 15 years of success in strategic global sourcing and supply quality management in North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific Rim countries. He is a subject matter expert in developing processes, plans, and approaches to generate lucrative international business opportunities. John is currently a member of ISM, APICS, and IAOP (International Association of Outsourcing Professional) and served in the APICS Tulsa chapter as Vice President of Membership & Development.
