Hamman Marketing Associates (HMA), an international marketing communications consultancy, has formed a business alliance with Euro Agro Business Consulting Development (ABCD) of Paris to provide collaborative support for US food companies seeking to enter the European market, and European companies who wish to enter the US market.
HMA offers the US Market Entry Program (USMEP) that provides a set of marketing communication deliverables including industry research, press support, advertising, and sales collateral to position companies for successful entry to the US market. The program has been administered through North Africa and the Middle East.
Euro ABCD--and its principle Philippe Juglar--has a long and successful history in working with governments, NGOs, and trade consortiums worldwide to promote their brands and products, and gain market penetration throughout the European Community. Projects include promotion of 100% Colombian Coffee via the Colombian Coffee Growers Association. Philippe is a frequent guest speaker--in French, English or Spanish--and has authored many articles and studies regarding the field of international agro business.
"We have many similarities in our philosophy of promoting companies to the market," says HMA founder Al Hamman. "We see the early challenges as being education and communication in the market, preparing a fertile selling environment for sales professionals who will take companies the last mile."
Principals of the two companies--Philippe Juglar of Euro ABCD and Al Hamman of Hamman Marketing--first collaborated on a project funded by the Tunisian government to promote packaged Tunisian olive oil in Europe and the United States. The two recently met at the Euro ABCD offices in Paris to further discussions on how best to promote international trade for their clients within their market specialties.
