Eduventures, Inc., the leader in higher education research and consulting, today announced that Bruce G. Wilson is a former publisher of The Chronicle of Higher Education and The Chronicle of Philanthropy. Over the course of his 18 years at The Chronicle, Wilson served as a Sales Manager, National Marketing Director and Associate Publisher before being named Publisher of Display Advertising in 2003 and overall Publisher in 2006, a role he served until 2009. In this role he oversaw all display and recruitment advertising which included marketing and new business development for revenue generation for online, print and events. Wilson was responsible for several recent new offerings at The Chronicle including the launch of a college and university branding initiative and campus viewpoints on Chronicle.com. Said Wilson, "I am excited about this opportunity to join Eduventures as I have been impressed by the quality of their research and insight for many years. Through a multitude of meetings and interactions with hundreds of higher education senior leaders, I've come to understand the numerous issues currently facing colleges and universities today. Because of The Chronicle I had access to these leaders in academe where I was able to have high level discussions on these critical issues. I look forward to leveraging the research and consulting expertise of Eduventures to continue working with Provosts, Deans and other higher ed leaders to help them overcome these challenges."

Added Eduventures President and CEO Tom Dretler, "We are very pleased to welcome Bruce to the Eduventures team. His commitment to improving higher education is well known throughout the higher ed community and his years of experience within the field make him a valuable addition to our organization."
