HEROweb Marketing and Design (http://www.hero-web.com), already known for outstanding website design and development, announces the recent hiring of three new members to their growing marketing team.
Over the past several months, Alex Peerenboom, Dave Reed, and Mike Brown have been brought aboard to help with the increasing demand the company has faced with both the growth of their marketing service portfolio and recent comparison shopping feed service announcement.
"HEROweb's marketing services have really blossomed over the past year and with this, came the need to expand our team to keep up with demand," said CEO and co-owner Michael Stearns.
The first of the three new hires came in the way of Alex Peerenboom back in March. Peerenboom, a 2008 University of Oregon graduate, was added to the HEROweb team as an Internet Marketing Assistant to aid with Search Engine Optimization and Comparison Shopping services.
Over time, service strengthened, demand increased, and as a result Stearns and co-owner Staci Schipporeit found they needed to hire someone to assist with the direction of the marketing department and head up account management.
Mike Brown was subsequently hired aboard in June as Director of Marketing. Brown, another University of Oregon graduate, brought with him 5+ years search marketing experience, managing/co-managing campaigns for companies such as Best Buy, Kenneth Cole, and ShopNBC while working for another company in the Eugene/Springfield area.
Very shortly after Brown's hiring, communication with clients uncovered increasing need for Pay-Per-Click advertising and thus, another person to fill out the already expanding team.
Brown suggested Dave Reed, a four year search marketing veteran, former co-worker, and a yet third UO grad who had worked with him on campaigns such as MountainGear and RockCreek Outfitters.
"I was excited about Dave coming on board as Internet Marketing Specialist. I enjoyed working with him on several PPC campaigns at our previous company and knew he had the expertise needed to help HEROweb's current and future clients' PPC campaigns succeed," said Brown.
With HEROweb's experienced team now in place, the portfolio of clients ever growing, and the seamless integration of the marketing services with the impressive MightyMerchant (http://www.mightymerchant.com) eCommerce solution, Stearns and Schipporeit may just find themselves looking for another Duck in the near future.
HEROweb Marketing and Design and MightyMerchant are owned and operated by Datahost, Inc. Located in Springfield Oregon, they have been serving customers throughout the United States and Canada since 1991.
