Chicago, IL (PRWEB) August 17, 2009
Geckotech, a leading Hosted VoIP phone system provider, announced that it ranked No. 1295 on Inc. magazine's third annual Inc. 5000, an exclusive ranking of the nation's fastest-growing private companies, with three-year growth of 244 percent.
Since 2003, Geckotech has experienced enormous success by providing a turn-key Hosted VoIP phone service to businesses nationwide using reliable Cisco VoIP technology coupled with high-touch customer service. Businesses are quickly deploying Geckotech's hosted voice and data solution to satisfy a number of organizational demands, including geographic expansion, cost reduction, ease of management and the need for enhanced security. Unlike traditional telecom providers, Geckotech is accountable for phone system maintenance and management, reliable and responsive service, feature deployment and predictable cost.
"Savvy trend spotters and those who invest in private companies know that the Inc. 5000 is the best place to find out about young companies that are achieving success through a wide variety of unprecedented business models, as well as older private companies that are still expanding at an impressive rate," said Inc. 5000 project manager Jim Melloan. "That's why our list is so eagerly anticipated every year."
Geckotech is ranked No. 39 among telecommunications companies to make the list. IT Services proves to be a high-growth industry, boasting the most companies on this year's list with 57 organizations named.
"Geckotech is honored to be recognized by Inc. magazine among the most dynamic, fast-growth companies in the U.S.," said Josh Robbins, Managing Partner of Geckotech. "Being named to the Inc. 5000 list marks an important milestone in Geckotech's growth and further validates our innovative business model and market leadership position. Geckotech's ranking is proof that the hard work and dedication of our employees has poised the company for steady growth as we continue to solve the telecommunications needs of businesses nationwide by providing reliable service and personalized customer support."
The 2009 Inc. 5000, unveiled on Inc.com, serves as a unique report card on the U.S. economy. Despite the ongoing recession, aggregate revenue among the companies on the list actually increased to $214 billion, up $29 billion from last year, with a median three-year growth rate of 126 percent. The Inc. 5000 are responsible for creating more than 1 million jobs since their founding, making the list perhaps the best example of the impact private, fast-growing companies can have on the economy. Complete results of the Inc. 5000, including company profiles and an interactive database that can be sorted by industry, region, and other criteria, can be found on Inc.com.
