Eventful and Billboard today announced the launch of the second annual "Eventful Fan's Choice Award" which empowers fans to vote for the performer they feel most deserves to win the 2009 award for Best Concert Tour of the Year. The fifteen top musical acts in the running for the award include AC/DC, Beyoncé, Billy Joel & Elton John, Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band, Britney Spears, Coldplay, Dave Matthews Band, Fleetwood Mac, Il Divo, Jonas Brothers, Kenny Chesney, Metallica, Nickelback, Rascal Flatts and U2. Repeat finalists include Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band and last year's winner, Kenny Chesney. Fans across the country can support their favorite performers by voting for the artist they want to win the award. Eventful and Billboard have teamed up to leverage Eventful's unique "Demand it!" service to let the fans decide which artist put on the best concert tour of 2009.

The winner will be announced at the Billboard Touring Awards reception, taking place on November 5, 2009 at The Roosevelt Hotel in NYC. The awards reception will culminate the sixth annual Billboard Touring Conference, uniting today's top touring professionals to discuss the industry, network, and conduct business.
