Western International University (WIU), based in Phoenix, AZ, has established new program partnership agreements to enhance their long-standing articulation agreement with Maricopa County Community College District (MCCCD) These new partnership agreements will enable seamless transitions for MCCCD business students into WIU degree programs.

Western International University (WIU), a leader in flexible, innovative, oncampus and online adult education, has recently established additional programs qualifying for articulation for students transferring from the ten Maricopa County Community College District (MCCCD) colleges.

Both institutions are committed to the importance of encouraging community college students to take the next step and complete their bachelor degrees. Through the partnership, MCCCD students can transfer a block of up to 72 credits toward a WIU online or oncampus bachelor degree program, starting their WIU program as a junior with as few as 54 credits to complete their degree. WIU also offers MCCCD students a waived application fee, and first-time WIU students who transfer credits from a nationally or regionally accredited community college can also qualify for a $500 book voucher for use in the WIU Bookstore.
The newly designated Business Transfer Pathways Options for MCCCD students include the following programs:

"Through our dynamic partnership with MCCCD, we are very pleased to offer MCCCD students these new opportunities to streamline their enrollment process and accelerate completion of their bachelor degrees," said Karen Janitell, WIU Executive Director of Enrollment and Marketing.
