New Hampshire Web Development Firm Gains National Recognition

A Web development firm in New Hampshire is making a big splash lately, surviving and thriving outside of the big city. CommonPlaces e-Solutions, located in Hampstead, New Hampshire, has been receiving national recognition for their work. Most recently, they appeared at number 446 in Inc. Magazine's Inc. 500 list, an annual list of the fastest-growing private companies in the United States.

CommonPlaces' inclusion in the Inc. 500 comes just days after CommonPlaces appeared in Forbes Magazine as a Leading Provider of Web Design services in the Eastern United States. This short list of Web firms was complied by Goldline Research, and features companies that have distinguished themselves as dependable, innovative, and successful in the field of Web design and development.

Goldline Research is an independent market research firm that specializes in evaluating professional services providers. "Those selected [as Leading Web Designers] provide extensive client service that exceeds the industry standard," said Dana Mahoney, Analyst, Goldline Research. "We believe that they are setting the benchmarks for the industry as a whole."

CommonPlaces e-Solutions specializes in open-source Web development, website design, and Internet marketing for businesses, government agencies, educational institutions, and non-profit organizations. Their appearance in the Inc. 500 marks CommonPlaces President and CEO Ben Bassi's second time on the Inc. list, appearing in 1993 as a VP of North American Sales and Business Development for Object Design.

Bassi is understandably excited by the recognition that his company has received of late. "We've experienced amazing growth over the last few years," said Bassi. "The national recognition elevates the company to the next echelon of development firms. The awards validate the hard work and time invested in our continuous drive for development excellence."

CommonPlaces also recently received an Interactive Media Award for their work on Twolia.com, an online destination site for women, and a place for female artists to share and market their work. The Twolia site was recognized for excellence in design, usability, innovation, standards compliance, and content. The Interactive Media Awards, created by the Interactive Media Council, "recognize the highest standards of excellence in website design and development and honor individuals and organizations for their outstanding achievement."
