At Jamak, we've always been open to creative uses of our resources. Partnering with Reata allowed us to diversify our line and provide another revenue opportunity during these uncertain economic times.

The old saying of "making lemonade from lemons" has translated into "making bakeware from silicone" for two very different businesses owned by Fort Worth's entrepreneurial Micallef family.

Weatherford, TX-based Jamak Fabrication is one of three silicone manufacturing plants (additional locations are in England and China) that collectively mass the world's largest production line for silicone windshield wiper blades, spark plug boots and oven gaskets. Jamak has partnered with another highly-successful Micallef business - Reata Restaurant, with locations in Alpine and Fort Worth - to create the restaurant's first branded kitchen products.

The Reata at Home™ Bakeware is a high-quality, naturally non-sticking silicone bakeware line that features three core baking pieces - a 9" round cake pan, a standard loaf pan and a 6 cup muffin pan. The unique, patent pending designs feature an integrated stainless-steel frame that provides the strength and easy handling of traditional bakeware while offering the convenience and easy clean up of a flexible silicone product.

"The strength of Jamak's silicone translates beautifully into these efficient baking tools," said John Beatty, vice president of Jamak Fabrication in Weatherford. "At Jamak, we've always been open to creative uses of our resources. Partnering with Reata allowed us to diversify our line and provide another revenue opportunity during these uncertain economic times."

Mike Micallef, president of Reata Restaurants, agrees. "The Reata Restaurant team is proud to partner with our sister company, Jamak Fabrication. We believe in providing first-class food, service and products for our customers, and are confident that home chefs will be very pleased with this long-lasting line of bakeware."

Reata At Home™ Bakeware can be purchased at both the Alpine and Fort Worth restaurants and online at http://www.reata.net/reata-at-home-bakeware.html
