Executive who oversaw in-house list management at Hachette Filipacchi Media to help grow new division of MHI

Direct marketing agency Media Horizons Inc. has named industry veteran Alan Zamchick as Vice President of its new List Management division. Zamchick, an award-winning list management executive, will bring his 30-plus years of experience to bear in helping MHI clients maximize their list rental profits.

"Alan brings a strong track record of outstanding performance in all aspects of list management, including marketing, promotion, fulfillment, servicing and receivables/collections," said Alan Kraft, President of Media Horizons Management. Since 1982, Zamchick directed the in-house list management department at Hachette Filipacchi Media, the world's largest magazine publisher with popular titles such as Car & Driver and ELLE. While there, he was responsible for a seven-figure list management operation for up to 24 HFM magazines.

Zamchick began his career in 1978 with Unity Buying Service, working on large mailing campaigns for Unity Buying Catalog, Sunset House, Beautiful Visions, Beauty Showcase and others. In 2004, he was awarded the New York Direct Marketing Club's Silver Apple Award for over 25 years of meritorious service to the industry.
