Guardian Mobility to Attend Helitech 2009 in England

Company to exhibit latest product enhancements at largest helicopter-focused show in Europe. Guardian's global customers benefit from configurable tracking for aircraft, enhanced mapping.

Ottawa, ON (PRWEB) August 26, 2009 -- Guardian Mobility announced today that it will attend Helitech in England from September 22 to 24, 2009. Visit Guardian in booth 1717.

Guardian looks forward to connecting at the show with some of its global customers, including Jämtlands Flyg AB, a company from Sweden who is using Guardian's flight tracking products and services.

Jämtlands Flyg uses its fleet of five helicopters for power line inspection and construction, forestry inspection, commercial air transport, and transporting customers to remote hunting and fishing camps. After unsatisfactory testing of several other tracking solutions, Jämtlands Flyg selected the Guardian 3i on the Iridium network to equip their fleet. The company operates in the remote and mountainous regions of Scandinavia and cannot rely on GSM or other types of coverage for fleet management.

"The Guardian 3i is the only way to go when you cross borders or operate in remote regions," said Jon Håkansson, Chief Operating Officer of Jämtlands Flyg.

Guardian's flexible mapping solution, versatile hardware and reliable network coverage creates a cost efficient solution for any aircraft fleet operator worldwide. With recent improvements to Guardian's advanced mapping in European regions, Håkansson states that, "Guardian has delivered excellent mapping detail for Europe, to our colossal satisfaction."

About Guardian products

Guardian Mobility offers three main aircraft tracking devices. The Guardian 3i runs on the Iridium network and allows for internal mounting and remote configuration of tracking options, and the ability to poll the device for current location and status. The Guardian 3x leverages the Globalstar satellite network, and incorporates integrated radio and antenna components in a single compact unit designed for quick installation on the exterior surface of fixed and rotary wing aircraft. Guardian SlimLine (Globalstar) offers aircraft tracking in a fully portable device. Guardian devices are easy to install and offer flexible airtime packages. Added services include advanced web-based mapping geared to aircraft operators, and customizable warnings and alerts.

About Guardian Mobility

Guardian Mobility offers a full range of GPS tracking solutions for aircraft. Lightweight, portable and easy to set up and install, Guardian's products are changing the way fleet operators manage their aircraft, allowing them to know the status and location of their aircraft at any given moment. Guardian's products are approved and widely used for Automatic Flight Following (AFF) by forestry contractors worldwide.
