Inc. magazine ranked Charlotte-based consulting firm NouvEON on its annual Inc. 5000 list for the second year running. The Inc. 5000 list is an exclusive ranking of the nation's fastest growing private companies. This year NouvEON excelled to No. 3 in NC Business Products and Services, No. 37 in Southeast Business Products and Services and No. 2,648 overall.
NouvEON's CEO T.J. Eberle is pleased with the company's continued growth and achievements in these tough economic times. "It is an honor to be recognized and this elite list further demonstrates the rapid growth our company has experienced as it continues to expand its client base."
The 2009 Inc. 5000 serves as a unique report card on the U.S. economy. Despite the ongoing recession, aggregate revenue among the companies on the list actually increased to $214 billion, up $29 billion from last year, with a median three-year growth rate of 126 percent. These companies are responsible for creating more than one million jobs since their founding; making the list perhaps the best example of the impact private, fast-growing companies can have on the economy.
"While our clients continue to feel the effects of the economy, they understand and appreciate the benefits provided by NouvEON. Our results stem from the continued high quality of expertise we offer to our clients and the business value generated from our attractive cost to quality ratio," said Eberle.
"Inc. 5000 is the best place to find out about young companies that are achieving success through a wide variety of unprecedented business models," said Inc. 5000 Project Manager Jim Melloan. "NouvEON continues to be recognized as a flourishing industry leader."
In addition to climbing the Inc. 5000 list, NouvEON was recently named the number one best small business in Charlotte and number two in North Carolina by Business Leader Media, a leading business-to-business media and information company.
Eberle expects the company to continue its steady growth, especially with the expansion of its national energy and utility practice focused on delivering integrated and innovative solutions to energy clients.
