The Phoenix Committee on Foreign Relations (PCFR) is proud to present the 6th annual International State of the State address, featuring Governor Jan Brewer on Tuesday, September 22, 2009, at the Arizona Biltmore. The PCFR is the leading non-profit, non partisan, educational, international policy organization in Arizona, dedicated to enhancing Arizona's global footprint. Membership includes more than 350 leaders from business, education, government, media and the community as well as a class of honorary students. To date, nearly 40 major organizations from around the state are collaborating with PCFR to support this important event.
In the International State of the State, the Governor will outline the state's international goals through 2010, discuss critical business achievements and opportunities, review key global issues, and announce new international initiatives important to Arizona. She will be joined by a panel of the state's top international policy executives.
"The International State of the State address is designed to educate attendees and promote engagement in key international issues," said PCFR chair Susan Shultz. "The overwhelming, broad-based business and community support for this event clearly demonstrates the priority placed on raising Arizona's profile within the global community."

The event is open to the public. Cost for Members/Cooperating Organizations if received prior to September 16 is $45, and non-members/guests is $55.
