ChemArt (http://www.chemart.com) announced today that they have received second place in the "Home Décor/Gift over $50.00" category in the annual Collector's Information Bureau Collectors' Choice Awards. ChemArt's competitors in this category include Enesco, Beasties of the Kingdom, Prizm Inc/Pipka, & Crystal World. The ornament that won the award was the "A "Christmas Story" Story Time Globe™, part of the 2009 Story Time Globe collection.

The Collector's Choice Awards - where manufacturers submit their marquis collectibles in twelve categories - are in their fourth year in 2009. A distinguished panel of judges - all experts in the giftware and collectible industry - select the top five entries in each category. Winners are chosen by public vote.

"We are so pleased to be recognized yet again", say Deb Parkinson, VP of Sales and Marketing for ChemArt. "Having collectors recognize us makes this award that much more meaningful. We have an incredibly talented group of in-house designers who year after year surprise and delight us with original, exquisite work. Nathaniel Dearolf, the designer of this piece, shows us inspiring and beautifully detailed ornaments with every design". This victory is nothing new to ChemArt. They have won numerous awards in the past three years.
ChemArt is best known for their manufacture of the largest annual ornament collection in the US - The White House ornament - created for the White House Historical Association.
