This is an exciting and critical time of year for MEDA as we raise support and awareness of our vision to achieve economic parity

More than 700 attendees are expected to gather at the Metropolitan Economic Development Association's (MEDA) Annual Gala, Saturday, November 14 in celebration of entrepreneurs of color in Minnesota.

Presented by Target Corporation, the MEDA Gala 2009 - "Fiesta Latina" is a premier, black-tie benefit that features a gourmet dinner, live and silent auctions and live entertainment. Proceeds from this event provide critical funding to help MEDA continue its 38-year legacy of providing business development services and financing to entrepreneurs of color to bridge racial and economic gaps in the community.

Join us for a very special evening in support of MEDA as we celebrate the rich cultural heritage of the Latin Americas!

Highlights:

  •      El Mercado: Silent auction.
  •     Chocolate sampling from South America.
  •     Gitanos (gypsy fortune tellers).
