Hodyon Makes Inc. 5000 List of Fastest Growing Private Companies in America for the Second Consecutive Year

Hodyon, a manufacturer of climate control products and systems, today announced it was named one of the 5000 fastest growing private companies in America by Inc.com. This places Hodyon among the year's fastest growing companies in the United States for the second straight year.

"We are pleased once again to be recognized as one of the fastest growing companies in America," says David Hancock, Chief Executive Officer of Hodyon. "Being recognized two consecutive years is testimony to a talented staff, high-quality products that meet the needs of our market, and a devoted customer base that continues to grow with us."

The 2009 Inc. 5000, unveiled last week, serves as a unique report card on the U.S. economy. Despite the ongoing recession, aggregate revenue among the companies on the list actually increased to $214 billion, up $29 billion from last year. The Inc. 5000 companies are responsible for creating more than 1 million jobs since their founding, which makes the list perhaps the best example of the impact private and fast-growing companies can have on the economy.

The Inc. announcement is the second big announcement from the Round Rock, Texas, manufacturer this week. On Friday 21, the company announced the launch of their first anti-idling truck auxiliary power unit, 'Dynasys,' at the Great American Trucking Show in Dallas, Texas.

Dynasys is a stand-alone, diesel-fueled auxiliary power system specifically designed for the heavy-duty truck market. Dynasys provides engine preheat for easy cold weather starting, electric heating and hermetic air conditioning for the sleeper, and 120V AC household power for appliances such as TV, microwave or any other device the driver may require.
