International flower delivery company daFlores continues its meteoric rise on Facebook. Between July and August 2009, 35,000 new Facebook fans signed up for a total of 76,000, doubling the number of fans.

Between July and August 2009, 35,000 new Facebook fans signed up for a total of 76,000, doubling the number of fans. 74% of the Facebook fans are women, providing men with an obvious clue about their preferences regarding flowers!

daFlores uses its Facebook page to communicate with clients, engage them in conversations, and offers weekly giveaways. The international flower delivery company will shortly be releasing a new Facebook application which enables readers to send virtual flowers. The community is enthusiastic, with thousands of interactions (thumbs-up and comments) each week.
