The competition forms part of the International Property Awards, the world's leading competition dedicated to finding the best real estate professionals across the globe. The entries were judged by a panel of professionals whose collective knowledge of the property industry is unique. Chairman of the Panel was Eric Pickles MP, the chairman of the Conservative Party, Ben Wood who heads the Google UK property division, Peter Bolton King who serves as Chief Executive of the National Federation of Property Professionals, Imtiaz Farookhi who is the Chief Executive of the National House Building Council, Christopher Hall who is the President Elect of the FIABCI, Wilhelm Harnish of the Master Builders of Australia, Thijis Stoffer of the International Consortium of Real Estate Agents Association, Helen Shield the editor in chief of the International Homes Luxury Collection magazine and Gillian Farr who is the head of design with Laura Ashley Home.
The awards will be presented at a Gala dinner at a top Grosvenor Square Hotel in Mayfair in central London in October.
Earlier this year VFI Overseas Property also scooped another prestigious award, the 2009 Overseas Living Magazine Award for the best 5 star development in Italy.
