ITC Learning, the leading provider of industrial skills training worldwide, announced the launch of its newly revamped website, which now offers extensive information and resources for continuing education and training in the Process and Manufacturing industries. These resources are available to all website visitors, and are intended to endorse an ongoing dialog within the industry, as well as promote the value of investing in advanced skills training.

Key website enhancements include:

1) The Founder's Blog
Bill Walton, founder of ITC Learning, shares some interesting and relevant knowledge and observations in his daily Blog. Topics range the gamut from Why Corporate Training Fails to Knowing Your Learning Styles, as well as some intriguing case studies.

"My objective with this Blog is to motivate contemplation and engage people in a dialog about the learning process," Walton stated. "I talk about a lot more than just technology or theory or current industry trends. I share practical information and observations that can profoundly impact individuals in their pursuit of advanced knowledge and training."

2) White Papers
The ITC website is now offering free informational White Papers on topics such as Online Training, Focus on Training During a Recession to Stay Competitive, and 10 Ways to Use ERP to Lean the Manufacturing Supply Chain. These papers are largely authored by third-party experts and consultants in engineering, manufacturing and training and will be augmented regularly with timely and relevant topics.

The new website features and content are designed to engage visitors on a deeper level, but the primary focus of the site continues to be the promotion of industrial skills training programs and products that are targeted at the industrial plant environment.

"Both our online and traditional training products have been developed and selected with the industrial plant worker and environment in mind. All courses have undergone SME review for content accuracy, and have been designed instructionally to meet the needs of the industrial adult learner," stated Walton. "Learners will find ITC's courses to be instructionally sound, engaging, easy to use and - most important - relevant to their jobs. Courses have been developed to meet SCORM training compliance standards."
