Mejor Inc. is proud to announce the launch of the Green Automobile Stimulus (GAS) package ( designed to supplement the government's automobile industry stimulus program. The GAS package will boost fuel efficiency for transportation vehicles while dramatically cutting down harmful emissions, and providing long term savings, as well as an immediate tax deduction. The stimulus program is a win-win-win situation for the economy, the environment and area non-profits. Here's how the package works: large fleets of vehicles, buses, taxis, rental cars and other transportation services purchase fuel saver conversion kits at a cost of $300 per vehicle for the fleet, the purchase cost is then donated to area non-profits, which allows fleet owners to write off the purchase price. After the conversion kits are installed, fuel consumption for each vehicle is reduced by 20%, thereby saving fleet owners huge costs in gasoline and ultimately, the environment benefits because each vehicle's harmful exhaust emissions is reduced by 50%.

"This is the perfect addition to the 'Cash for Clunkers' program," says Jay Burns, Mejor Inc. CEO. "Not everyone has the money to buy a new car, but they can improve the ones they've got by increasing their gas mileage and reducing emissions."

Car rental and leasing agencies further benefit from the program because they are offering an advantage over competing services that do not offer green transportation. Customers will benefit from better mileage per gallon with fuel saver conversions.

Schools, churches and non-profit organizations now have the opportunity to use the GAS program for fundraising opportunities. For every green conversion kit sold, the GAS program with donate a portion of the sale back to the school, church or non-profit.

The GAS program is now open to all automobile and transportation companies nationwide. The goal of the campaign is to convert 10-million cars by 2010. Mejor, Inc., a consulting firm, is spearheading the GAS campaign. For more information, contact Jay Burns at 800-758-2670 or visit
