Archadeck is happy to announce that Alan Test will be opening a new franchise location on October 1, 2009, serving the greater Eastern and Coastal North Carolina area.
Known as Archadeck of Coastal Carolina, Test will lead a team of designers and builders in creating a wide variety of custom outdoor livings spaces such as decks, pergolas, sunrooms, screened porches, gazebos, outdoor kitchens, outdoor living rooms, shade structures and deck replacements.
North Carolina counties that Archadeck of Coastal Carolina will serve are Beaufort, Carteret, Craven, Greene, Jones, Lenoir, Onslow, Pamlico and Pitt.
"We are excited to have Alan as our newest franchisee," announced Rob Haislip, Vice President of Operations of Archadeck. "He not only has the design and construction experience that is valuable to our business, but also the sales and marketing knowledge to create and build a successful Archadeck franchise location."
Archadeck currently has five other franchises in North Carolina and was looking to expand into the eastern part of the state. Before purchasing Archadeck of Coastal Carolina, Test worked as a Site Superintendent and Project Manager on both residential and commercial construction projects.
When looking to relocate to North Carolina, Archadeck provided him with the perfect professional opportunity. "The Archadeck business model is a natural extension of my interest in designing and creating beautiful and functional outdoor living spaces," said Test.
A native of California, Test has been visiting North Carolina on a regular basis since 2001. He and his wife Sue own property in Jones County where they are building a new home. Test is also an avid sailor and outdoorsman.
Archadeck, established in 1980, has built more than 75,000 projects across the country and is recognized as the largest deck and porch builder in North America.
