The Elfiq Link Balancer product line now offers more performance with a revised price offering, and introduces two new models: the LB-550B and the LB-2500E

Elfiq has worked diligently to meet and exceed customer expectations, which are why we are very proud of the updated product line

In today's current global economy where budgets are scrutinized and short return on investment cycles are the norm, Elfiq Networks is proud to announce an upgraded product line with revised pricing and two new models in its award-winning product family: the entry-level LB-550B and the LB-2500E, designed for high bandwidth demand organizations with affordability in mind.

"Elfiq has worked diligently to meet and exceed customer expectations, which are why we are very proud of the updated product line," said Jean Pascal Hebert, Vice President of Business Development at Elfiq Networks, a leader in bandwidth management and network availability solutions. "By offering a stronger value proposition and by lowering the price entry point for enterprise-class technology for the SMB audience, Elfiq's offer creates tremendous value which translates into immediate results for productivity and cost control."

Elfiq Networks' LB-550B is the new entry-level model, supporting two ISP links and 50Mbps of throughput. The LB-550B supports most of the key features found on the other models such as advanced balancing algorithms, traffic segmentation, Quality of Service (QoS) and LAN Failsafe. Any commonly available ISP link may be used with the LB-550B such as T1s, cable modems, DSL, 3G mobile links, fixed wireless and many more to provide the best cost/performance offering on the market.

The Link Balancer LB-2500E has the ability to balance up to 64 ISPs and 980Mbps of throughput, and it can use links over 100Mbps. It supports all Elfiq Link Balancer features including the new Intelligent Condition Verificator and Time of Day additions to Elfiq Operating System 3.4 (EOS). The LB-2500E offers the Global Geolink option, enabling multi-site geographic bandwidth redundancy for business continuity and disaster recovery projects.

Both the LB-550E and the LB-1100E have received capacity upgrades; the LB-550E now supports three ISPs and 80Mbps of throughput. The LB-550E also supports new advanced features such as the Intelligent Condition Verificator and Time of Day configurations, as well as SitePath MTPX. The LB-1100E now supports 6 ISPs and may be paired with a second unit for high-availability deployments.

"Our operations are on a 24/7 basis. An Elfiq Link LB in failover mode is part of our network infrastructure in order to have telecommunication redundancy and achieve our goal of quality of service to our customers. Due to the nature of our activities, our network environment is complex; it pleases us to confirm the integration and stability of the Elfiq Link Load Balancer solution in our production IT infrastructure and the ability to deliver a highly personalized setup." - Olivier Martin, President, Noxent, a 24/7 IT outsourcing organization.

Elfiq's Link Balancers are the only products recognized by Citrix for their added value and complementary approach, as they are the only products iReady certified in this market segment. Elfiq's agile solutions have been featured in both e-Week and Network World, and two Elfiq products, the LB1500E and LB-4000, have been named Product of the Week by Processor magazine.
