In partnership with the Fairfield County Concours d'Elegance Carshow being held in Westport, Connecticut September 12 and 13, 2009, Mandarin Oriental, New York has created a Concours d'Elegance Carshow package to accommodate participants in style, comfort, and with exceptional service and hospitality.

This annual event which celebrates of 100 years of significant motor vehicles, has expanded this year into a full weekend of on-field activities with an extensive classic car tour and club meet on Saturday, in addition to Sunday's traditional carshow. Featured classes for 2009 are 100 years of Alfa Romeo, the Packard post-war concept cars, Porsche, and 83 years of Pontiac. As one of the United States' leading Concours events, Fairfield County Concours d'Elegance prides itself in a wide range of cars, motorcycles and special exhibits. "When you come to our event," says Chairman Bill Scheffler, "you are greeted by the oldest car on the field and we take you through more than 100 years of objects of desire made from brass, metal, fibreglass, resin, wicker or whatever else has been used to make automobiles and motorcycles throughout their history."

Mandarin Oriental, New York, located at Columbus Circle on Manhattan's Upper West Side, is approximately an hour and a half drive from the Concours d'Elegance held in Fairfield County's Westport, Connecticut.

The Concours d'Elegance Carshow package includes:

VIP Weekend Patrons Passes for two guests to the Concours d'Elegance Carshow which includes admission both Saturday, September 12 and Sunday, September 13

Package rates are based on a two night minimum stay for a maximum of two guests and start at USD 1,059 per night excluding tax and is pending availability. This package is valid Friday, September 11 - Monday, September 13, 2009 only, and must be booked seven days in advance of September 12, 2009. Additional nights may be booked at prevailing rates.
