Aprexis Health Solutions, Inc., today announced that it has completed a management buy-out of InnovationRx, an early stage provider of medication and medical regimen adherence services, from Innovation Group (LSE:TiG).

Built by clinical and behavioral health experts and seasoned health care executives, the Aprexis Health Solutions adherence program suite is dedicated to helping patients make the difficult behavior changes necessary to improve their health. Solutions are based on proven approaches to adherence improvement, and built on well-established methodologies developed by some of the most respected thought leaders in health care.

The Aprexis assessment tools and personalized intervention plan can be delivered via a call center or through a Web platform, providing maximum flexibility. It allows Aprexis to work with any patient population--regardless of age, education level or access to the Internet. Interventions are tailored to match the needs and issues of each participant based upon their level of non-adherence and the barriers to adherence they experience. Interventions are delivered by health coaches (social worker, pharmacist or personal health counselor) trained in motivational interviewing techniques.
