HomeEducationResourceEmporium.com is a bold new website that seeks to provide lesson plans, materials and insight for homeschooling parents. Website founder Sandra Wilson is committed to ensuring homeschooled children receive a well rounded education, and intends to share her knowledge of homeschooling on a new blog.

"I've been homeschooling for about 14 years, and at this point I have experience educating at almost all grade levels," said Sandra Wilson. "Over that period of time I collected a lot of resource books and started selling them, which I wound up turning into a business."

Wilson is the founder of http://www.HomeEducationResourceEmporium.com, which launched in January of 2009. Wilson has designed the website to be a comprehensive resource for parents, teachers, tutors and educators interested in homeschooling.

"On the website I have links to resources, school supplies and resource books, as well as theme units that I've written in e-book form," said Wilson. "I'm focusing a lot on seventh and eighth grade because teaching materials for those grades tend to be the most difficult to find, but I'm planning to expand into earlier grades soon."

Because her website does serve as an educational resource, Wilson has taken strides to organize it with learning in mind. "I'm a visual learner, so I tried to make the website appealing to the eye with lots of pictures and changes in color," said Wilson. "I want the website to be a place where both parents and kids can go for information and education, so I designed it with a clean interface."

In order to share homeschooling information, lesson plans, and insights with other homeschooling parents, Wilson created a new blog at http://www.TheHome-EducationBlog.com.

"I have a lot of topics in mind, and I'm also intending to discuss how to deal with difficult lessons, and how to keep motivated," said Wilson. "I think because I can relate to other homeschooling parents, the blog will have some great advice."

While Wilson remains focused on her website for the moment, she has big plans for her homeschooling business that include opening up a neighborhood homeschooling center.

"Homeschooling parents don't have the same resources as schools, so finding a place to teach certain curriculum can be a real challenge," said Wilson. "I plan for the homeschooling center to be a place where parents can come to swap lessons, perform science experiments or use a high tech computer."

Wilson is committed to making education fun and interesting, and parents will love pairing with her to ensure their children learn, grow, and have a great time.
