Sam Samari, Sr. Program Manager - With more than 20 years of experience as a Program Manager, Sam joins Merrill after 2 years with Avaya. He has delivered more than 20 large-scale contact center (inbound, outbound, and blended media) and CTI/CRM projects using Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), deploying skills-based routing in customer service organizations, for over 40,000 contact center agents.
Before joining Avaya, Mr. Samari was a consultant, and previously worked as a Senior Manager at Cap Gemini Ernst & Young where he helped create packaged CRM solutions for CGEY's concept of Touchpoint Integration. He also delivered several sophisticated solutions based on the Siebel CRM, mySAP CRM, and Genesys Labs suite of applications. Before CGEY, he worked as a Director of Contact Center Practice at Cambridge Technology Partners for the West Coast. Mr. Samari also held a variety of positions at Genesys Telecommunications Labs, a CTI middleware developer, and Fujitsu Business Communication Systems, a switch maker.
Mr. Samari's solution delivery and program management experience cover the areas of contact center assessment, business process re-engineering, functional analysis, technology and infrastructure implementation, BI reporting and dash-boarding, VoIP/PBX/CTI implementation including Genesys' HA-enabled suite of CTI/GVP/Reporting products, Avaya Media Servers, Nortel Meridian M-1 switch, Cisco Call Manager v4.2 switch, customization of mySAP and Siebel CRM products, web-enabled self-service systems, as well as a wide variety of Avaya and Avaya-Partner products such as NICE Perform, and Verint/Witness voice recorders. He is expertly familiar with project delivery using Project Management Institute (PMI) methodology. He has managed projects in Financial Services (retail banking, brokerage, money management, home mortgage, credit card collections), Insurance (health, auto, property and casualty), Energy and Utilities, Oil and Gas, Consumer Packaged Goods, Automotive, Telecommunications, Call Center Outsourcing, and High Tech. Mr. Samari has directed projects with resources in excess of 25 persons, and costing over $30 million.
