celebrate the creativity, dedication, and hard work that entrepreneurs put into building their companies
Ann Arbor, MI (PRWEB) September 8, 2009
The much-anticipated release of leading entrepreneur resource Inc. Magazine's annual "Inc. 500|5000" list revealed a new addition to the Advertising & Marketing category this year. Ann Arbor-based interactive advertising and marketing agency Enlighten has been included in the 2009 ranking of the 5000 fastest growing private companies in the country.
Designed to "celebrate the creativity, dedication, and hard work that entrepreneurs put into building their companies," the list ranks U.S.-based, privately-held and independent for profit companies based on their percentage revenue growth from 2005 to 2008. Enlighten debuted at No. 3,315, demonstrating a growth rate of 76.8 percent. Previously, the Inc. 500|5000 has included such now iconic companies as Microsoft, Intuit, Timberland, Oracle, and UnderArmour.
"We are immensely proud to be included in this prestigious listing, particularly given the current economic climate," says Steve Glauberman, founder and CEO of Enlighten. "Enlighten has remained a private company throughout our twenty-six year history. A strong entrepreneurial sprit is largely responsible for driving the creativity and innovation that has differentiated and defined our work, so to be nationally recognized as successful entrepreneurs is a wonderful achievement."
