Ananda Los Angeles announced today its donation of 1,000 free general admission tickets to the public to come and hear Swami Kriyananda during his one-night Los Angeles event Friday, September 25, 2009 at the Ford Amphitheatre in Hollywood. Tickets are available now and must be reserved at

"Ananda Los Angeles, is donating $35,000 worth of tickets because we are dedicated to helping all people regardless of finances, to find happiness and inner peace especially in times of uncertainty and upheaval," Sean Meshorer, ordained minister and Co-Director of Ananda Los Angeles said. "Swami Kriyananda's message of hope and inspiration is for everyone. It's for those of every race, religion, and economic status and is desperately needed at this time."

Kriyananda is one of the last living direct disciples of the renowned spiritual master, Paramhansa Yogananda, author of the best-selling classic Autobiography of a Yogi. Kriyananda dedicated his life works to carrying Yogananda's message that happiness, inner peace, and self-realization can be found inside each one of us and can be scientifically accessed through non-sectarian, non-dogmatic spiritual practices like meditation, by anyone, regardless of religious affiliation, race, economic status, or educational background.

Kriyananda's one-night event will be a combined talk and international launch for the new edition of his autobiography, The New Path: My Life with Paramhansa Yogananda. During this wide-ranging talk, Kriyananda will share stories--sometimes intimate, often miraculous, and always inspirational--of his time with Yogananda, give rare insight into the life and mission of Yogananda, and present Yogananda's vision for the world in the coming years.
