Acquisition of Intellectual Property to Accelerate Development of New High-Performance Storage Solutions
Houston, Texas (PRWEB) September 8, 2009 -- Texas Memory Systems, maker of the World's Fastest Storage®, today announced that it has expanded its intellectual property base with the acquisition of data management patents and source code from Incipient, Inc. This technology acquisition will allow Texas Memory Systems to further differentiate its industry-leading RamSan line of solid state storage solutions and to increase its advantage over the competition.
Incipient developed scalable storage virtualization and management capabilities over a period of eight years. During that time, the company made significant technological advances and was awarded multiple patents.
