EZGSA announcing hiring of longtime sales development expert Tom White as the consulting firm's incoming Manager of Business Development. White will assist GSA Schedule holders with both creating and improving upon current strategies to expand their sales revenue through the federal marketplace.

EZGSA President Scott Orbach has announced the hiring of longtime sales development expert and 13-year Army Guard and Reserve veteran Tom White as the Bethesda-based government consulting firm's incoming Manager of Business Development.

As Manger of Business Development, White will assist GSA Schedule holders with both creating and improving upon current strategies to expand their sales revenue through the federal marketplace.

"Helping our clients secure a GSA Schedule is what we do, it is our primary focus," commented Orbach, "The addition of Tom White to our organization provides the one-two punch for our offerings to our client base. The first step is to help our clients secure a GSA Schedule, the second step, according to our client's requests, is helping them market their goods and services to the federal government."

A 13-year veteran of the Army Guard and Reserve, where he retired as a Captain, White also spent 12 years in the intelligence community before entering the private sector as a business development consultant.

As a business development consultant, White has served with companies such as Xtria LLC, IBM and VTM Consulting in their government systems and sales development departments. During his tenure at Xtria as an account executive, White was responsible for the creation of $1.6 million in potential sales. With IBM, White headed all Army, CIA WebSphere and MQ sales as an AIM sales specialist, producing $800 thousand in revenue during his first nine months with the renowned IT company. As an account executive with VTM Consulting, White was a provider of sales development and marketing services for area solution providers. In his last position before joining EZGSA, White worked as the Government Account Manager with Alban Caterpillar's Engine Power Systems to bring in over $10 million in federal sales. As a result of these record revenue streams, Alban doubled the number of Sales Engineers and Product Support Representatives on staff to meet the needs of its expanding federal client base.

White graduated from Frostburg State University (MD) with a B.S. in Economics and continued his education at Villanova University, where he received his Project Management Certificate.
