The Broadband Multimedia Marketing Association (BMMA), an international organization dedicated to advance the adoption and use of broadband services, recently announced the details for its upcoming Fall Workshop and the election of its Board of Directors for 2009-2010.
The BMMA will hold its 2009 Fall Workshop in Buffalo, New York from September 15-17, 2009. The meeting, which is being hosted by Synacor, will include presentations from broadband industry luminaries, interactive discussions, and opportunities to network with professionals representing the telecommunications service provider and vendor communities.
The BMMA Board of Directors for 2009-2010 includes:

- Brian Farley of MTS Allstream, Co-Chair
- Larry McClanahan of Cincinnati Bell, Treasurer

"The main objective of the BMMA is to advance the adoption and use of broadband services by learning about industry trends, identifying key industry success factors, and discussing best practices," said Brian Farley, the newly re-elected Co-Chair of the BMMA and Director of Consumer Internet Product Management at MTS Allstream. "We strive to grow the industry collectively and create an environment that allows each company to compete for its share of the larger overall market." Farley continued, "The main benefit of BMMA membership is the unique networking where the members endeavor to help each other succeed."
Eric Wolbach, responsible for broadband strategy at AT&T and BMMA's newly elected Co-Chair added, "The BMMA also provides an environment where service providers can learn about technologies and applications from the industry's leading vendors."
