The 1 day conference is set to take place on September 23 in Arlington, Virginia and will feature international presentations on policy, funding and technology.

The Business of Carbon Capture.

With the support of associations such as the Zero Emissions Platform (ZEP) of the EU and the Carbon Capture and Storage Association (CCSA) of the UK, IntertechPira's 2009 Carbon Capture World Summit will feature a variety of international presentations with topics ranging from policy and funding to technology and commercialization.

Due to the tough economic climate and customer feedback, we've shortened the program to give delegates the maximum amount of information in the minimum amount of time. Our goal this year is to offer less time away from the office, an accessible location, and a comprehensive line-up of speakers focused on the most important issues facing the carbon capture industry.

Featured presenters at the event include Mr. Gardiner Hill, Vice-Chair of ZEP, who will be presenting on the role of ZEP in promoting carbon sequestration and Dr. Victor Der, Acting Assistant Secretary for Fossil Energy of the U.S. Department of Energy.

Other presenting companies include: Calera Corporation, Alstom Power, Ernst & Young and many others. The complete list of speakers can be found online at Carbon Capture World Summit

Delegates are also invited to participate in the free September 22nd pre-conference workshop entitled "The Business of Carbon Capture." This 3 hour seminar will feature 5 presentations from Greenberg Traurig, ERM and New Energy Finance and will cover issues such as U.S. regulations, transport and storage, and the economics of carbon capture. Spots at the seminar can be reserved in conjunction with the Carbon Capture World Summit or as a stand alone event.

Delegates can save 50% on the registration fees when they book before September 15th,. Please use promo code CCS50 when registering online.
