Accounting Management Solutions, Inc. (AMS), a leading provider of outsourced accounting, financial management, and consulting services for private, public, and nonprofit organizations, today announced the addition of Stash Lisowski to the company's New York office as director of Business Solutions. He is joining Michael Whitney, the New York director of Nonprofit Solutions. Lisowski will be working with both established and early stage companies, helping them:
- Set up/start up of accounting operations
- Position their organizations for economic recovery and future growth
- Research specific FASB and IFRS standards and other important accounting and finance issues
- Assess and implement accounting software systems
- Prepare for annual budgets, audits and other special Finance projects
- Evaluate internal controls, develop and document policies and procedures
- Provide interim, temporary or part-time CFOs, controllers or directors of Finance
- Outsource ongoing accounting responsibilities on a full or part-time basis
- Prepare pre and post merger due diligence and integration

Prior to joining AMS, Lisowski worked with other accounting consulting firms. He served as director of Business Development for PricewaterhouseCoopers where he specialized in high-growth technology companies. Before that, he spent several years as the assistant vice president for Economic Development and executive director of the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) Enterprise Development Center, a small business incubator. During his tenure there he provided core business and financial consultation to high-tech entrepreneurial firms ranging in size from start-ups to $5 million. Lisowski has also worked as a corporate controller and a CPA, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Albright College.
