StyleEase Software, longtime leading provider of software for writing academic papers, theses, and dissertations, has updated its flagship StyleEase for APA Style product for changes in the recently published APA Publication Manual 6th Edition, and has updated StyleEase for MLA Style for the 7th Edition of the MLA Handbook.

StyleEase Software has announced an update to its flagship product, StyleEase for APA Style. According to company president Gary Hillerson, "We received the manual on July 1, focused all of our development efforts on updating our software, and released the new version (3.4) on August 1.

"We knew," added Hillerson, "that many college students will be called upon to write papers in APA Style this year, and that professors can really be sticklers for everything being in accordance with the 6th Edition. So we knew how important it was for us to get this update out before the fall rush began. And let's not forget that StyleEase product updates are always free, so all of our customers can get updated to 6th Edition without cost."

StyleEase for MLA Style has also been updated to handle the significant changes made in the 7th Edition of the MLA Handbook, which was released in April. These updates include extensive revamping of online source references, the inclusion of media information in all reference entries, and other changes.

Products are available for immediate download at the company's web site. Students can try StyleEase before buying. Educators can receive free copies of StyleEase. Simple and strongly discounted site licensing is available, as are discount coupons. StyleEase can also be found online at numerous academic book sellers and distributors, including, Journey Ed, MBS Direct, Academic Superstore, ClickBank, and Amazon.

The new versions of StyleEase for APA Style and StyleEase for MLA Style both include a greatly enhanced update management system, that makes it a lot easier for users to install their updates. And the online distribution system put in place earlier this year makes it simple for booksellers, distributors, and institutions to sell StyleEase products; for example, when MBS Direct sells copies of StyleEase, they simply direct purchasers to the StyleEase server, which handles the entire transaction, including download, installation, and software activation, relieving MBS of the need to manage anything other than the actual sale. Several colleges are using the same technology to manage site licenses of StyleEase.

StyleEase products automate the process of writing academic papers and bibliographies in specific styles, including APA (American Psychological Association) style, MLA (Modern Language Association) style, Chicago/Turabian style, and Seminary style. StyleEase is integrated into Microsoft Word, and frees students to focus on their content, without having to learn how complex formatting and citation rules.

StyleEase also has a following on Facebook and Twitter.
