There's a lot of bad advertising out there. The Tracys will showcase the worst.

The Tracy Awards for the Worst in Advertising

The first known award competition of its kind, the Tracy Awards will celebrate the worst in advertising. From annoying, unforgettable TV ads to simply horrendous print ads, The Tracys offer a forum to both showcase and nominate what people think are the most awful ads.

Be it a print ad, a website, a TV spot, a billboard, a business card, whatever - bad advertising of any kind can be entered into the Tracys by uploading the file at http://www.thetracyawards.com. Every ad received will be judged. Harshly. If it's bad enough, it will win a Tracy, which will be sent to the people responsible for creating the abomination in the first place. Plus, all ads that win Tracys will be nationally publicized as The Worst Advertising of 2009. Submissions can be made through mid-October, with Tracy winners announced by year's end.

If the ad submitted wins a Tracy, the submitter will win something too.

Visit http://www.thetracyawards.com every day for a dose of the "Cream of the Crap," a daily post highlighting some of the most noteworthy Tracy submissions. Follow The Tracys on Twitter (thetracys), and become a fan on Facebook (The Tracy Awards).

There's a lot of bad advertising out there. The Tracys will make fun of it.
