Phoenix, AZ (PRWEB) September 10, 2009
MoneySoft, Inc. today announced the release of a new and enhanced version (10.0) of Fixed Asset Pro, its popular fixed asset tracking and tax depreciation software for small businesses and their accountants.
The new version of Fixed Asset Pro includes a redesign of its underlying database and the addition of a procedure that allows users to import fixed asset data from a variety of data formats. A wizard steps the user through the import process and includes procedures to verify and validate data.
Once data is entered or imported into Fixed Asset Pro, the system automatically calculates depreciation for financial reporting, Federal Tax and four other "books." Users can input an unlimited number of companies and unlimited assets. A library of standard reports and a newly enhanced custom report builder are included with the program.
"The new import routine will save users a tremendous amount of time," says Robert B. Machiz, MoneySoft's President. "In many cases, new users have their fixed asset data stored in an accounting program or spreadsheet with limited functionality. In addition, existing users can also use the import routine to append their database."
In addition to the import capabilities, the new version of Fixed Asset Pro offers users the ability to export the entire database in a number of common file formats such Excel, delimited text, XML, SQL script, and Dbase for increased portability of data.
The new version of Fixed Asset Pro will have an introductory price tag of $499 for a single user and $599 for a site license.
Free technical support is available to current users. Optional annual updates will be available to reflect changes to the tax depreciation rules.
