Taubman Centers today announced the availability of its Yearbook Yourself App for iPhone and iPod touch on the App Store. The Yearbook Yourself App is based on the Webby-award-winning online campaign that enticed more than 20 million people to picture themselves through the ages. The app also provides users with information about discounts at Taubman malls across the country.

"Existing fans of http://www.YearbookYourself.com are going to love the iPhone and iPod touch version," says Glenda Cole, Regional Marketing & Sponsorship Director for Taubman. Users can now see themselves sporting every iconic look from the past - from a 60's beehive to that memorable 80's mullet - anywhere they are in addition to enjoying great back-to-school discounts at Taubman malls across the U.S.

YearbookYourself.com was an instant hit when it launched last fall. Millions of visitors to the site uploaded photos in order to see themselves in vintage hairdos and outfits spanning more than five decades. Once "yearbooked," they sent their photos across the Internet, inspiring a contagious chain of fun that also sparked interest in current fashions featured at a variety of retailers at Taubman's shopping centers across the U.S.

The new app offers new and exclusive photos only for the iPhone and iPod touch. Users can take photos with their iPhone cameras or choose from their photo albums, then "yearbook themselves" to share with friends and family via e-mail and posting to Facebook. In addition to the sheer fun, the app is geo-targeted to Taubman shopping centers, so that users who download the app within a mall market area will receive a link to back-to-school deals and coupons for retailers at that Taubman center. The Yearbook Yourself App is available for $0.99 from the App Store on iPhone and iPod touch or at http://www.itunes.com/appstore/.
