Frequent droughts and water restrictions are a growing problem for the car wash industry, mobile auto detailers and vehicle fleet managers. Traditional car wash methods require a large volume of water and chemicals, and produce an equal amount of waste-water.
One company from Maine offers a solution to the problem. Maine Steam, LLC has just introduced the Optima DMF, America's first mobile steam car wash machine designed especially for washing vehicles.
Using the Optima DMF, an operator can wash a vehicle's exterior using only 1.5 gallons of water and producing zero waste-water. The machine uses low pressure, high temperature steam to safely and effectively remove dirt. The process works by spraying the vehicle's surface with steam and following the steam trail with a microfiber absorbent cloth.
The Optima DMF allows two operators to wash the exterior and interior of a vehicle without loss in pressure and requires no down time. The machine has an adjustable moisture and temperature control and can be used in both a stationary and mobile position.
The Optima DMF is ideal for mobile detailers and vehicle fleet operators who want an effective and environmentally friendly alternative to high volume pressure washers.
Maine Steam, LLC was founded in 2007. President & founder Ryan Salkaln created Maine Steam after witnessing the growth of steam car wash machines in both Asia and Europe. Maine Steam, LLC is working in cooperation with Seong Jin Engineering Corporation of South Korea to continuously develop and define the steam car wash industry.
