Three New Water Stocks added; Three Stocks Deleted from Janney Global Water Index in Quarterly Rebalancing
The Janney Global Water Index℠ (TICKER: JGI) will add three new components, effective 6:00 PM (EST) Sunday, September 20, 2009. Three stocks will be deleted from the index, thus maintaining the fixed number of 60 components.
New York (PRWEB) September 10, 2009 -- The Janney Global Water Index℠ (TICKER: JGI) will add three new components, effective 6:00 PM (EST) Sunday, September 20, 2009. Three stocks will be deleted from the index, thus maintaining the fixed number of 60 components. The changes result from the quarterly rebalancing of the index.
The Janney Global Water Index
The additions to the Janney Water Tech Index℠ are Wavin NV (TICKER: WAVIN NA) and Spice Holdings (TICKER: SPI LN), while Gorman-Rupp Co. (TICKER: GRC) and Northwest Pipe Co. (TICKER: NWPX) will be deleted.
Acegas SpA (TICKER: AEG IM) will replace Gelsenwasser AG (TICKER: WWG GR) in the Janney Water Works Index℠.

The Janney Global Water Index℠ is a capitalization-weighted, float-adjusted index of the most prominent water stocks in the world. To be included in the JGI index, stocks must pass multiple screens, including for capitalization, float, exchange listing, share price and turnover.
