Arcis Digital Security Inc., the world leader in digital print security solutions, announces an agreement with Kodak to certify Kodak Versamark V-Series Printing Systems to produce Digital Void Pantograph Technology.

With Kodak's 40-plus years of developing inkjet products, the Digital Void Pantograph technology is a strong addition for our customers looking to offer higher levels of security printing with our high production inkjet systems

Using Arcis's proprietary Digital Void Pantograph Technology, Kodak Versamark V-Series Printing Systems are now capable of producing:

  • Secure digitally printed documents in full color at high speed
  • On-Demand digitally printed security features incorporating variable data

The Kodak Versamark VX5000, Kodak Versamark VT3000, and the full Kodak Versamark VL-Series Printing Systems (including the VL2000/2200, VL4000/4200 and the VL6000/6200) can now also help customers:

  • Reduce their carbon footprint by no longer having to use pre-printed security stock
  • Capture and retain more customers by offering customized digital void pantographs

"This innovative Digital Void Pantograph technology is unique to the industry and will allow Kodak customers to be able to incorporate a reliable and well recognized anti-copy technology in an emergent digital format as the alternative to buying pre-printed security paper stock," said Andrew McTaggart, Managing Director, of Arcis Digital Security Inc. "The concept is simple, plain paper in and a digitally printed secure document out - better for the customer and better for the environment."

Using Arcis's Digital Void Pantograph Technology, VERSAMARK V-Series Printing Systems are able to satisfy demanding client security requirements by printing checks that qualify to display the padlock security icon. The check security padlock icon is a well recognized and valuable resource available to members in the Checks Payment System Association (CPSA).

"With Kodak's 40-plus years of developing inkjet products, the Digital Void Pantograph technology is a strong addition for our customers looking to offer higher levels of security printing with our high production inkjet systems," said Ronen Cohen, Vice President of Marketing, Digital Printing Solutions, Kodak. "We are innovators in the inkjet industry and continue to partner with others who help bring a higher value to print."
