Have you ever dreamed of playing your music for crowds across America but have no clue where to start, or if it's even possible? With MapGigs, the new affordable gig mapping website, it's easier than ever!
MapGigs.com is a comprehensive website that introduces its members to the world of the traveling musician. From genre-specific venue mapping to eco-friendly touring tips, this site takes the guesswork out of cross-country touring.
"Many musicians don't realize how easy it can be to take their act on the road because they don't even know where to start", says MapGigs co-owner Hailey Hermosa. "We developed this website to tear down all of the barriers of tour planning. We do everything but book the gigs, making it easy for musicians to plan tours and gain exposure across the country."
Musicians can visit http://www.MapGigs.com to plug in their start city, end city, genre(s) capacity and travel dates and the system generates a map from point A to point B featuring all venues along the way that cater to the user's unique specifications. The map features the most efficient routing, minimizing cost and environmental impact and appealing to those who prefer environmentally friendly, or "green", touring.
Users select venue bundles based on how many listings they would like to receive. The website's user-friendly interface allows members to save and manage tours with ease under their personal MyGigs page. Membership also includes free open-mic listing along your route(s), tour directions, venue call listings, tour tips, and newsletters.
MapGigs is the product of musician Paul Hermosa and his wife and manager, Hailey. After planning and embarking on multiple tours, the Virginia natives recognized a need for a simple, comprehensive and affordable venue mapping system for touring artists.
The current MapGigs database has over 4,000 verified music venues and is growing daily. MapGigs is your route to success! For more information, visit http://www.MapGigs.com.
