Leadership Training For Corporate Staffing and Recruiting Professionals Seeks to Fill Educational Void and Address Tough Times

The Strategic Talent Acquisition Roundtable (STARoundtable) today announced its 2009 Corporate Recruiting & Staffing Leadership Academy. This fall, staffing and recruiting professionals seeking to improve their leadership skills will have one opportunity to participate in the third season, of highly specialized educational workshops at one of the nation’s top-tier university business schools. This year’s academy session will be held in Chicago:

8-8:30 a.m. and conclude at 3 p.m. with a free STARnetwork session beginning at 3:30PM until 5:30PM

During this intensive workshop recruiting and staffing professionals will learn and discuss such critical topics as: best practices for organizing, managing, motivating, measuring and leading a recruiting and staffing team; metrics executives and hiring managers care about the most and how to interpret and implement them; how to translate data from workforce planning into staffing strategies; and learning how to build a consultative recruiting culture.

The Leadership Academy will be co-lead by three principals from Riviera Advisors, a premier global human resource consulting firm. With a combined 50-plus years of real-world experience, that involves leading and managing corporate recruiting functions, these uniquely qualified experts will share their own successes and failures, while also providing proven solutions for today’s recruiting leaders.
