Taller People Are Happiest Says New Research: Supermodel Lisa Butcher, the Face of Long Tall Sally Shares Her Thoughts
Taller people are happier with their lives, according to a brand new study by US academics. The research, out this week claims that people of greater height 'live better lives'. Supermodel, Lisa Butcher, face of UK brand Long Tall Sally (a specialist in clothing for women 5'8" and above) shares her thoughts.
London, UK (PRWeb UK/PRWEB ) September 12, 2009 -- Taller people are happier with their lives, according to a brand new study by US academics. The research, out yesterday claims that people of greater height 'live better lives'.
This revealing study concluded the findings were almost wholly explained by the positive association between height and both income and education, both of which are closely linked to better lives.

Lisa's thoughts on being 'tall' agree in some ways with the research but definitely not as a rule:
'Being tall you always standout, I remember my mother always saying to me "Why are you always trying to fit in when you are born to stand out". I tower above most men in heels so it can be intimidating and difficult to find a man taller than me especially in my heels.
I had a career to start with because of my height so being tall has been hugely advantageous for me. On the otherhand there's a huge amount of powerful people in this world that are not tall like Margaret Thatcher, Madonna, Tom Cruise, Nicolas Sarkozy. Although Sarkozy's wife Carla Bruni towers above him.'
The one thing she did find herself at a disadvantage with was clothes that would fit well:
'Clothing used to be a struggle sometimes, with brands like Long Tall Sally that cater for my height I don't have to worry about my clothes being half masted.'
