Online Dealer Mall (http://www.onlinedealermall.com), the one-stop source for vehicle shopping, today has launched a first of its kind internet-based dealer mall. Retail buyers of automobiles, boats, RVs, motorcycles and ATVs can research their purchase and find exactly what they are looking for without the hassles of dealing with a salesperson or by doing extensive and unnecessary online research.

Online Dealer Mall, created by two pioneering automotive veterans - Dave Ward and Sam Cowan, features tools that aid the consumer in making an informed and educated decision on their next vehicle purchase. On the site, consumers can view product comparisons, check their credit score, read dealer reviews, get new and used car pricing information, pre-arrange financing, check insurance quotes and more. Once the consumer has decided on the right vehicle, they can find the dealers in their area and search their inventory for the final choice they have made.

"Most consumers would rather do their research online instead of spending time running around town. We can provide all the resources for them to do this research without jumping around from site to site," said co-founder Dave Ward.

"While there may be similar automotive sites online," said co-founder Sam Cowan. "Most of them are lead generation services designed to coax the consumer into filling out a credit application and this application is then forwarded to multiple dealers within a geographical region. Once they fill out this application, many consumers are plagued by phone calls and emails from multiple dealers trying to bring them into their dealership."

In addition, dealers can pay up to twenty dollars per lead and the average closing ratio of these types of leads is less than one percent. Online Dealer Mall brings the consumer to the dealers website and it is then up to the dealer to convince the customer that they should do business with them.

The concept of a dealer mall is not new in the "bricks and mortar" world. Retailers of all types have long realized the benefits of being located in shopping malls. It drives more traffic to dealerships than being situated on a secluded strip of land. Car dealers also realized these benefits and selected locations where they can be amongst their competitors, whether that be "Auto Row" (an area of town where most car dealers are located) or better yet an actual "AutoMall" complex. Customers don't want to drive all over town to research their purchases. To date, motorcycle, marine and RV dealers have not been able to achieve the same "bricks and mortar" benefits.

Many dealers find that it is difficult to attract customers via traditional search engines. It takes time money and effort to achieve any kind of decent ranking with the major search engines. Sam Cowan said, "Online Dealer Mall will take care of search engine positioning for the dealer. In addition, the dealers benefit from our national advertising campaigns and achieve better search engine ranking as part of our Mall."
