Montreal, Canada (PRWEB) September 16, 2009 -- iBwave Solutions, the global in-building design software provider, today announced the nomination of Marc Lamy as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the company. He will oversee iBwave's finance, accounting and investor relations functions. With over 20 years of experience, Marc Lamy also represents a strong addition to the company's executive team, which directs all aspects iBwave's strategy, planning and operations.

Before joining iBwave, Mr. Lamy was part of the corporate finance group of Deloitte since 2007, working with clients to provide merger, acquisition, financing and advisory services. Prior to that, Marc Lamy has served as CEO of Mindready Solutions from June 2006 to August 2007 and as CFO since May 2004. He acted as Chief Financial Officer of Wysdom, a private company involved in complex wireless data solutions for wireless carriers and large enterprises, from January 2000 to September 2001 and served as Chief Financial Officer and Board member of Cognicase Inc., a publicly traded information technology company, from March 1997 to January 2000, where he was instrumental in taking that company public in both Canada and the United States (NASDAQ) and led the company in managing eighteen different acquisitions throughout Canada, the United States and Europe. He also served as a board member for Ixiasoft Inc., Accovia Inc, Lyrtech inc., Mindready Solutions and Cognicase Inc and has been sitting on iBwave's Advisory Board for the past two years.

Marc Lamy received his Chartered Financial Analyst designation in June 1991 and holds a Bachelor Degree in Engineering from 'Université de Montréal - École Polytechnique', Canada. He also holds a Master of Science and Administration from 'Université de Montréal - École des Hautes Études Commerciales', Canada.
