Kid Guitar Website Expands to Offer More Fun Kid Instruments

Share Article has long been the premier online destination for electric kid's guitars in fun colors, shapes and themes. Now, much to the delight of fans, the website is expanding to offer several different instruments including acoustic guitars and drum sets, as well as instructional books and DVDs.

I have since added junior drum sets, three piece drum sets and five piece drum sets to the website.

When Sandra Wiley created, she wanted to inspire kids to become more involved in music, and thought that electric guitars were the best place to start.

"What kid doesn't want to become a rock star at some point in their lives?" Wiley said. "I think electric guitars are some of the most fun out of all the different instruments, and obviously a lot of kids want to learn how to play," she added.

However, after some amount of time, Wiley thought expanding to offer more instruments would help kids to branch out. "Next to guitar, I think drums have to be the instrument of choice, because kids love to make a lot of noise, and heck, adults do too," said Wiley. "I have since added junior drum sets, three piece drum sets and five piece drum sets to the website."

In addition, Wiley now offers acoustic guitars and instructional books and DVDs for both guitars and drum sets. "I want kids to be able to explore their rock star, and these guitars and drum sets can even be fun for parents to jam on."

Wiley's hope is that kids, both serious students and future rock stars, find the resources to enrich their lives through music, which is one of the reasons she launched her blog at

"A lot of kids need a hobby that can keep them active, and music is one of the best hobbies I can imagine because it's so popular and all kids and adults can relate to it," said Wiley. "On my blog I talk about different topics ranging from choosing the right acoustic guitar, tuning a drum set and mastering different guitar techniques."

While Wiley believes kids and adults will find a great musical instrument from the selection she currently offers, she hopes that down the road she'll be able to add more. "Even though right now I'm covering a lot of the most popular instruments, music is universal, and in the future I really want to be able to cover all the instruments that kids might be interested in."
